A few of us joined our friends in the Lotus Cortina Register at Brands Hatch for the annual Lotus Festival to celebrate 50 years of the Lotus Cortina.
With Special guests, ex works drivers Sir John Whitmore and Jack Sears, together with Team Lotus mechanic Bob Dance in attendance to see around 100 Lotus Cortinas – including no less than four of the “CTC” MkIIs together for the first time in many years! – and the first ever Lotus Cortina only race taking place it was an amazing weekend that the Lotus Cortina Register had put together, just a shame they forgot to book the good weather for the Saturday!
