Where and when is the National Rally?

The 2024 National Rally takes place with both the MkI Cortina Owners Club and the 105E Anglia Owners Club at the Stratford Upon Avon Racecourse from lunchtime on Friday 16th August through to Sunday 18th August. Program your Satnavs to head for CV37 9SE.

Do I need to book?

No, you can just turn up.

How must does it cost?

Entry is free if you come along in a MkI, MkII Cortina or 105E Anglia. £5 per show car if you don’t.

After being greeted at the main entrance please drive carefully to the gazebo at the gate to our club area to sign in and collect your voting forms. You’ll then be guided to your parking spot on the show field.

I’m not a MkIIOC member, can I still come along?

Absolutely, we’d love to see you. We’d love to see your MkII as well if you want to bring that along too!

Is there a road run this year?

We shall be leaving the racecourse at 10.30am on Saturday for a ride out to Bourton on the Water to visit the Cotswold Motoring Museum. There is a charge for the museum, but we do get a discounted price for a group visit. It is an interesting museum, well worth a visit, as is the rest of the local area which has a Model Village and Bird Garden as well as the popular village itself.

Is there camping?

Yes, camping is available at £15 for one night (Friday or Saturday) or £25 for both.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, no problem, but please keep them on a lead and do clear up after them.

Is food available on site?

Event catering will be available through the day on Saturday and Sunday with free food on Saturday evening.

Can I buy spares?

Both the club spares and regalia shops will be open on Sunday (11am – 2pm) in our marquee area but there will be an autojumble and trader area to go rummaging in too.
Our Spares Team won’t be able to take everything up to Stratford so if there is something in particular you’re after, do make sure they have your order by Friday 9th August.

Can I sell spares?

Putting a few parts out for sale in front of your MkII in the show area is absolutely fine but you may be directed to the autojumble area if you have lots of parts for sale. Pitches available from £20 upwards

What is this year’s charity collection?

We will be supporting the Neuro Services team at St Georges Hospital Trust in memory of membership secretary Steve Vincent. Look out for the collection boxes in the club marquee or you can use the QR code in the program to donate online.

Can I help?

Yes! If you can spare a little time to help over the weekend please speak to one of the committee members.

Have a great weekend.

The Committee.
